Thursday

Hi there to y'all, Well, a long time since I blogged because we have been on holiday for a week in the touring caravan up in North Yorkshire, we had a lovely time doing not too much at all, but of course while on holiday I cannot blog. The weather was fab. and we had Beryl and Dave with us on the same caravan site so although we did our own thing during the day we usually spent the evenings together playing cards or dominoes or just just chatting, usually with a glass of wine, very enjoyable. I had my birthday whilst we were up there and we all went out for a meal which turned out to be really scrummy at a country house hotel and restaurant near Rosedale which in turn is not too far from Pickering. Unfortunately, after we offloaded all the stuff on our return home I hitched up the caravan to take it back to the farm and on on the way for some unexplainable reason the van became unhitched on the way down High Street, thankfully I was only doing about 10 mph and although emergency deadlock brake stopped the van it did a bit of damage to the towing area, thankfully it is now fixed and I am taking it to the caravan people a week on Monday to have everything checked out before we go away to Norfolk at the end of May, better to play safe than be sorry. June had a bad session of IBS over the weekend but she just about okay againd now. Happy blogging, Grick.

a bit of a scare with the caravan. glad everythoing is ok. sounds like a great holiday, though i don't know if mum's ibs should make it onto the world wide web!!!!!!
Hope you are fine now mum.
we had a gorgeous day yesterday and barbecued and walked into town ,to the newly opened for the season, ice cream shop!
very nice!
gem is at work now and has applied for another part time job for the summer, hope she gets it.
jess is still sleeping. she went out with gem and her friends last night which was good as she often is home and gem is out. it is good to see them do stuff together, although weird waiting for them both to get back .
anyway, on with the day, love to you both,
nicki.

i have to agree with nicki, i'm afraid...
i don't think that it would sit well with me if gary
bragged up my menstral cycle or something like
that on the internet! :) indeed, i pray that june
is feeling better!
a tremendous scare with the caravan!
makes me think of an old "flinstone's" episode
where fred is trying to get up north and thinks that
he is stuck in traffic when all the while he is sitting
behind a caravan that had become detatched from
it's car and was sitting still on the highway! :)
keep us all up to date. all is well here.
finally golfing in minnesota!
love to all.
